Trever Bennett, a well-known artist and member of the Victor Valley Branch, had a dream of an Art Tour for the Victor Valley. The whole idea was to tell people about the great number of talented artists in the High Desert, and to fund women returning to college to better care for themselves and their families. The first AAUW Victor Valley Branch Art Tour was in 1996. It continues today as a successful and festive event.
